Now that LeBron James has finally announced his decision to join the Miami Heat, it's party time!
He touched down in South Beach around 2:30 a.m. Friday to a fan and photog frenzy, as people followed his every move from the airport to the W Hotel where he's staying.
And naturally, LeBron's Tweeting about his new hometown on his freshly-created Twitter...
"What's up yall. Just landed in my new home. Thanks to all the fans and Miami organization who greeted me. The Road to History starts now!" he posted.
Apparently, he plans to log some poolside partying time, too. LeBron has reportedly rented out six cabanas at the W to celebrate.
But his current stay in Miami will be short-lived. He's due back in NYC on Saturday night for fellow basketballer Carmelo Anthony's wedding to Lala Vasquez, where Lala's BFF Kim Kardashian will be in attendance.
Maybe she can give him some tips on taking Miami?
