Karina Smirnoff and her Dancing with the Stars partner, J.R. Martinez, let down their hair with fellow castmates at Hyde nightclub in Hollywood last night.
Ricki Lake, Cheryl Burke, Mark Ballas, Rob Kardashian and Kristin Cavallari all came out to celebrate after the season opener. (David Arquette and Hope Solo also came, but avoided the cameras.)
So can Karina and J.R. go all the way? They tell E! cameras how they feel, after tying for first last night:
Karina said they can "steal" the trophy.
"Yeah, exactly, take it from Kym [Johnson]," J.R. joked. "But at the same time, however far this journey lasts we have had fun...we have an amazing bond that will never be broken."
Karina gushed about Iraq war vet and actor J.R., who scored a 22 to tie with Chynna and Tony Dovolani.
"He did amazing! Cameras rolling, millions of people watching and he stayed in the moment," she said, praising him for focusing on the story they are trying to tell through their dance, and pulling from his emotional past.
J.R. agreed: "I had a lot to pull from."
But last night's fete was all about fun! No judges were on hand to rate the contestants as they showed off their moves and playfully cut a rug.
