As the ninth season winner of American Idol, it was Lee DeWyze's big night—but Simon Cowell was all anyone wanted to talk about at the Skybar's finale afterparty.
Including Simon, of course.
"I'm dealing with emotions," Cowell told photogs of his final appearance on the show. "I gulped when I was on stage."
And even runner-up Crystal Bowersox had nothing but nice to things to say about the sometimes-caustic AI judge...
"I love you, Simon! Good luck in everything you do," she told paps as she left the party. "You've been amazing!"
Janice Dickinson couldn't resist a nod to Simon's diva rep. "Oh yes, I gave her kisses!" she told paps.
Fellow judge Randy Jackson admitted it's "gonna be sad and crazy" without Simon sitting next to him.
As for the supposed man of the hour, Lee? Don't worry. There was a big throng of photogs waiting for him to leave Skybar, too.
