Sorry, ladies...as awesome as it sounds that soccer stud David Beckham is shacking up at George Clooney's Lake Como villa in Italy, it's just not true.
Hello magazine first reported that Becks was subletting the pricey pad from George and that the two became friends after they were introduced by Giorgio Armani at last year's Met Ball.
Sounds like the bromance of the century, right? Too bad the villa can't be rented.
"One hundred percent not true," Clooney's rep said of the report. "George is filming in America at this time. He is not renting the house to anyone, and that would include David."
Sorry, Becks. But we bet Tom Cruise is relieved that David isn't replacing him with George as his boy BFF.
