The Hunger Games Elects Donald Sutherland as President Snow!

Donald Sutherland probably won't be mistaken for Barack Obama any day soon, but put the grey-haired actor in a suit and he sure does look presidential!

Good thing, because Lionsgate has just announced that Sutherland will be playing the super evil President Snow in The Hunger Games.

So is he the right man for the job?

We think so!

And judging by all of the positive feedback on The Hunger Games Facebook page, looks like you all agree.

Sutherland, star of such iconic films as M*A*S*H, Ordinary People and Pride & Prejudice, will be stepping in the shoes of President Snow, who, according to a press release from Lionsgate this morning, "has been the autocratic ruler of Panem and its contained districts for some 25 years at the outset of the story. With a snake-like appearance, he is cruel and ruthless in his intimidation and control tactics."

With those piercing blue eyes and face that says "I've seen a lot in my day," we think Sutherland can totally pull off the part.
