Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman have separated after nearly five years together, E! News has confirmed.
But does this mean she's going back to basics?

Although living apart, the couple have not filed for divorce yet and are still hopeful to make things work on behalf of their son, 2 1/2-year-old Max.
The 29-year-old pop princess began dating the 33-year-old music marketing executive in 2002 after meeting him at her management firm, Azoff Music Management. They tied the knot in November 2005 in a lavish ceremony at a Napa Valley estate with guests that included Sharon Stone.
Aguilera's rep did not immediately comment.
