Hasselbeck the White House, Get Party Invitation
When it comes to the White House, a little whine goes a long way.
On yesterday's episode of The View, ever-outspoken Elisabeth Hasselbeck claimed she had a "bone to pick" with the White House. She never received an invitation to their Christmas party as she has in past years.
"Maybe I didn't do enough for the Republican party this year," the talker, who was a major supporter on the McCain/Palin campaign, joked. "Not that I had time to go to that party anyway. I had my own cookies and chocolate."
Someone in Washington, D.C., must have been watching, because right after the show Hasselbeck received an apologetic phone call from the White House saying the no-show invite was an accidental oversight.
She and her husband are making plans to visit in January.
