Green Lantern Dings Up Ryan Reynolds

Superheroing is painful work. Just ask Ryan Reynolds.

The action star was winged while filming The Green Lantern.

A production source tells E! News that despite his power ring, Reynolds suffered a "minor injury" to his shoulder on Monday. However, the mishap did not delay production on the Martin Campbell-helmed comic book caper. (The source disputed an earlier Us Weekly report claiming the star suffered a separated shoulder.)

In fact, Reynolds is on set today in New Orleans as scheduled and the would-be franchise-launcher remains on track for a June 2011 release.

Good thing he can count on a Black Widow to nurse him back to good health.
