In the vid, a behind the scenes clip of which the animal rights group had leaked in May when the shoot took place, the 32-year-old Canalis explains that taking it off was a way to direct people's attention to her pet cause: ending the brutal practice of slaughtering defenseless critters to make the fur-lined coats and other accessories people buy.
As the owner of three dogs herself (who no doubt comforted her after she and the 50-year-old movie hunk bid arrivaderci in June), the model believes that animals "enrich people's lives."
