Geena Davis Marries...Again

Let's hope Geena Davis' newest project lasts longer than The Geena Davis Show.

The statuesque model, Oscar winner and wannabe Olympic archer gave marriage another shot this weekend, tying the knot Saturday with her companion of two years, surgeon Reza Jarrahy.

Davis, 45, and Jarrahy, 30, swapped vows in a private ceremony on Long Island, her publicist, Paul Bloch, confirmed Tuesday.

"We are very happy and we look forward to spending the rest of our lives together," the newlyweds said in a statement. They are honeymooning at an undisclosed location, Bloch says, and will live in Los Angeles upon their return.

This marks the fourth time down the aisle for Davis. She was hitched to restaurateur Richard Emmolo from 1981-83. Hubby number two was frequent costar Jeff Goldblum. They met during the shooting of Transylvania 6-5000 and shared the marquee for The Fly and Earth Girls Are Easy before splitting in 1990. Davis last tried coupling with director Renny Harlin, but, like their movies Cutthroat Island and The Long Kiss Goodnight, their four-year union also flopped, and they called it quits in 1998.

Davis met Jarrahy through a mutual friend in 1999. They have been a twosome ever since.

The actress, who won a Supporting Actress Oscar for 1988's The Accidental Tourist and also starred in hits like Tootsie, Thelma and Louise, Beetlejuice and A League of Their Own, famously gave up her Hollywood day job in 1999 to try to make the Olympics as an archer. She made it as far as the semifinals for the U.S. team before missing the cut.

In addition to her ABC sitcom, which was deep-sixed earlier this year after just one season, Davis has recently been working on the sequel to Stuart Little.
