Where in the World Are Gary Coleman's Ashes?
Gary Coleman is resting in peace, all right...on an office desk in Utah.
A spokeswoman for the late Diff'rent Strokes star's ex-wife, Shannon Price, tells E! News that a third-party lawyer charged with overseeing Coleman's estate still has his ashes.
But Shannon hopes a court will approve her request to be named Coleman's common-law wife, which would pave the way for her to gain control of his assets and fulfill what she believed were the late actor and train enthusiast's final wishes.
And those are?
Case Closed: Ex Played No Role in Gary Coleman's Death
The circumstances surrounding Gary Coleman's death were no doubt strange. But one thing's for sure: by official accounts, it was an accident, not murder.
A spokeswoman for the Santaquin, Utah, police confirmed to E! News that detectives have closed their probe into the former child actor's death. Investigars sided with the county coroner, who determined he died of a brain hemorrhage after a fall in his Provo-area home. And there was no foul play.

Gary Coleman's House on the Block—Any Takers?
For the serious Diff'rent Strokes fan with a spare $320,000 and change, we got just the dealie for you.
Gary Coleman's Utah home is for sale. That is, if his ex-wife doesn't get her hands on it first.
The house needs some work—court-appointed administrator Robert Jeffs estimates at least $7,500 in repairs is needed for the "poor/distressed" property (there's one for the real estate add!)—and Coleman's "disorganized" belongings need to be crated up and carted out first.
Otherwise, potential buyers just have to worry about bad karma possible legal action by Coleman's former missus.
Gary Coleman's Ex Files for Common-Law Status; Makes Play for Assets
Divorce, shmivorce.
Despite their marriage being legally over at the time of Gary Coleman's death in May, Shannon Price is insisting that she was his common-law wife.
A case of diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks—or just a play for Coleman's estate?
Gary Coleman's Parents Pissed Over Tonight's Memorial
Safe to say that Gary Coleman's folks aren't into this kind of diff'rent strokes.
The late actor's former agent, who landed Coleman his seminal role on Diff'rent Strokes back in 1978, tells E! News that the star's estranged parents are very angry that they weren't invited to the private memorial being held for him tonight in L.A.—even though his last wishes expressly forbade them from attending.
All together now: Whatchu talkin bout, Victor?
UPDATE!
Gary Coleman Tried to Restrain Ex Shannon Price
The woman taking over Gary Coleman's death seems to be the exact woman he wanted out of his life. Welcome to the club.
The late actor's lawyer Randy Kester confirms to E! News that Coleman had attempted to file a restraining order against former wife Shannon Price just a few months before his passing.
His reason for launching the game of legal keep-away? He learned his ex had been "looting" his house while he was recovering from a seizure.
Gary Coleman Cremated, Ashes Stored for Now
At least one of Gary Coleman's last wishes has been carried out in a somewhat timely manner.
The actor's remains were unceremoniously cremated Thursday at 5:15 p.m. at a Salt Lake City mortuary, according to attorney Robert Jeffs, who a judge appointed temporary guardian of Coleman's estate while his so-called loved ones fight among themselves.
Gary Coleman Memorial in the Works...but Guess Who's Not Invited?
Gary Coleman won't be forgotten—even if he didn't want people making a fuss about his death.
The former child star's best buddies, including former Diff'rent Strokes sibling Todd Bridges, gal-pal and would-be heir Anna Gray and author-entrepreneur Kent Emmons are planning to honor their fallen friend with a private memorial, despite Coleman's final wish not to hold a funeral on his behalf.
"Anna and I are planning one in a few months," Emmons tells E! News.
So who didn't make the cut?
