Fraser a Pop; Frasier Expecting
Brendan Fraser's adding to his brood.
The Revenge of the Mummy star and his wife, Afton Smith, welcomed their second son, Holden, Aug. 16 in L.A, his publicist confirmed Friday. The couple, who've been hitched for six years, also have a two-year-old son, Griffin Arthur Fraser.
Baby Fraser weighed in at 10 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 21 inches.
Fraser Sr., whose kid-friendly credits include George of the Jungle, Dudley Do-Right and Looney Tunes: Back in Action, has two PG-style movies coming out, the thriller Crash and the romantic comedy Accidental Husband.
But the goofy action star will be back with a movie for the underage set in 2006. Fraser's lending his voice to the animated flick Big Bug Man, featuring Marlon Brando's last performance as Mrs. Sour, the matriarch of a corrupt candy company. Fraser plays the title role of a working stiff who gains the powers of a group of insects who have bitten him.
Fraser's missus, now a homemaker, was an actress in her previous life, starring in Less Than Zero, Reality Bites and George of the Jungle. "A long time ago she acted," the silly-in-love Fraser gushed a few years ago to London's Sunday Times, "but now she makes me possible, she's my producer."
Another Hollywood couple anticipating their own joint-production is Kelsey Grammer and his wife Camille, who are expecting a baby via a surrogate mother, People reports. The couple have a daughter, Mason, 2, who was also born to a surrogate.
And while Grammer's no longer busy taping Frasier, the actor's unlikely to play Mr. Mom at home. There's talk of resurrecting his Dr. Frasier Crane for another spin through TV land; plus Grammer's serving as producer on an in-development Spike TV show to be hosted by his wife; he'll also star in an NBC remake of A Christmas Carol with Seinfeld alum Jason Alexander and Law & Order's Jesse L. Martin.
