ICING ON THE CAKE: Beyoncé's annoyingly titled album, B-Day, which was annoyingly released on her 25th birthday (Sept. 4), topping the charts with 541,000 copies sold.

IN MOURNING: TrimSpa CEO Alex Coen, who calls himself both a friend and business associate of Anna Nicole Smith, telling Larry King that she is too overcome by grief to talk about the cause of her 20-year-old son Daniel's death. In an hourlong conversation, Coen estimating Smith was "only coherent for about five minutes." Officials have yet to release the cause of death, but have said it was "not natural."

REMEMBERED: Terri Irwin announcing plans for a public memorial service for her late husband at the Australia Zoo's Crocoseum. "I cannot see how a memorial service would work in any place other than the Crocoseum which he built here at the zoo and of which he was so proud," she said in a statement. Mourners who wish to attend the service will be asked to donate to Steve Irwin's Wildlife Warriors fund.

IN 'TOON: Jim Carrey and Steve Carell signing on to voice characters in the upcoming CGI film version of Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who, per the Hollywood Reporter. The project marks Carrey's first foray into animation.

BACK TO FANTASYLAND: Peter Jackson optioning the historical fantasy series, Temeraire, which reimagines the Napoleonic Wars--but with dragons!

SEGREGATION ISLAND: The NAACP stating it opposes the concept of Survivor: Cook Islands, where teams are divided according to race but reserving judgment until the show actually airs. Then, and only then, will it officially flip out.

REALITY TV: An actual mummified body discovered on the location where CSI: New York was filming Tuesday, People reports. They should really clean out their prop closet more often.

WAITING GAME: Paris Hilton still waiting to learn if she will be charged with DUI after her arrest on Sept. 7. The LAPD has submitted its case; now the Los Angeles city attorney's office must decide if it will file charges. Hilton scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 28.

KATIE, WHO? Meredith Vieira debuting on the Today show Wednesday, saying she felt "like it's the first day of school, and I'm sitting next to the cutest guy." As opposed to a clique of the meanest girls.
