VAMP CHAMP: Spike TV ordering a pilot based on the Blade movies starring Wesley Snipes as a half-human, half-vampire hunter of the undead.

BAD VIBES: A California judge finding sufficient evidence Friday to order a trial for Jimmy James Johnson, the man accused of punching Dr. Dre during the Vibe Awards last year. Johnson faces at least one assault charge for his alleged violent actions.

BUSTED: Country singer Mindy McCready arrested early Friday in Nashville and charged with drunken driving. McCready is already on probation after she pleaded guilty last year to illegally obtaining OxyContin.
