PUFFY UPDATE: In testimony Friday, a witness says he saw codefendant "Shyne" Barrow and another man pointing a gun before a 1999 club shooting in New York. It's the first time someone has testified that a clubgoer other than Barrow or Sean "Puffy" Combs was armed.
FACING THE MUSIC: During a hearing in federal court Friday, lawyers for Napster say the song-swapping company will begin voluntarily blocking the trading of pirated MP3s effective this weekend.
S-S-S-SMOKIN'! Survivor: The Australian Outback heating up Thursday as software publisher and pig-killer Michael Skupin severely burned his hands when he fell into a fire pit. Medics evacuated him in a chopper and no immunity challenge or tribal council was held.
SURVIVOR ADD: Skupin appeared on CBS' The Early Show Friday morning to talk about the incident. With the exception of some scarring, he said, he is fully recovered.
WAR OF WORDS: Contract talks between the Writers Guild of America and Hollywood producers collapsing on Thursday after nearly six weeks of intense bargaining. If the two sides can't come together over the key sticking point of residuals, Hollywood could be headed for a crippling strike May 1, when the WGA's contract expires.
