GENIUS LOVES AWARDS: Ray dominating the NAACP Image Awards Saturday, scoring four trophies, including Best Film and Best Actor for Jamie Foxx. Prince picked up the Vanguard Award for career achievement.

TALE OF THE TAPE: The Ring Two ringing up an estimated $36 million as this nation's new number one movie.

HE WAS FRAMED, I TELL YOU: Laurie Johnson, the fiancée of Kelly A. Frank, the Montana man charged with plotting to kidnap David Letterman's infant son and nanny, says Frank was set up by a former friend.

INSIDER IN REHAB: Pat O'Brien taking a hiatus from hosting chores on The Insider to enter an alcohol-treatment program. In a statement to the Assoicated Press, he says, "Overcoming this problem is a top priority in my life and I am excited to return to work as soon as I am able."

HEALING THEM SOFTLY: Former Fugee members Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean reuniting on stage in Kuala Lumpur as part of a seven-hour charity concert benefiting tsunami victims.

SEE YOU IN COURT: Ron Edwards, the former manager of Ruben Studdard, suing the American Idol champ for $500,000 on Friday for allegedly failing to pay management fees and not reimbursing Edwards for expenses. Studdard sued Edwards in February accusing him of misappropriating funds.

LAWYER SWAP: American Idol dropout Mario Vazquez reportedly hiring lawyer Jesse L. Rosen--the same lawyer who helped Clay Aiken find a way out of his ironclad Idol contract. Vazquez has said he left the show for "personal reasons."

AFFAIR TO REMEMBER: A retooled version of the syndicated newsmag A Current Affair coming back to the airwaves on Monday. The show, hosted by former football player Tim Green, plans to be less tabloidal than the old Maury Povich edition.

BRING ON THE SPAM: Monty Python's Spamalot, starring David Hyde Pierce, Tim Curry and Hank Azaria and directed by Mike Nichols, opening to positive reviews on Broadway. The show has advanced sales of $18 million and is sold out through June; Friday ticket sales alone were $1.7 million.

JACKSON WATCH: The judge in Michael Jackson's child-molestation case refusing Friday to declare a mistrial. Jackson's defense attorneys had sought the motion on the grounds that a prosecution witness had offered testimony that was not ruled admissible.

MORE JACKSON: Meanwhile, in a victory for the defense, the judge allowing testimony about an alleged accusation by the accuser that comic George Lopez had stolen the boy's wallet. Jackson's lawyers say the incident shows how the boy makes up stories to get money.

HER LATEST SMASH HIT: Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo considering filing charges against Paula Abdul after she was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run car accident Thursday. The victim in the accident reportedly used his camera phone to snap a picture of Abdul's car as it left the scene.

OVER AND OUT: Halle Berry leaving the William Morris Agency Thursday as a result of a New Yorker profile of the agency's new president, David Wirtschafter, in which he made comments about Berry and her career, Daily Variety reports.

RIGHT BEHIND YA: Sarah Michelle Gellar has also quit William Morris over Wirtschafter's comments about her in the same New Yorker article. Wirtschafter told the magazine that Gellar was �nothing at all� before the success of the horror flick The Grudge.
