SOME GOOD NEWS: Michael Jackson cleared of allegations that he molested an unnamed child in Los Angeles in the 1980s, the LAPD said Wednesday. The decision has no bearing on Jackson's child-molestation case in Santa Barbara.

MOTOROCK HEAD: Jessica Simspon filing a $140,000 breach-of-contract suit against a New Jersey promoter. She says the man reneged on a deal to pay her for appearing at a 2003 car race in Puerto Rico and then wear a T-shirt with the racing logo "MOTOROCK" in a video.

COMING SOON TO A THEATER NEAR YOU: Michael Moore's latest lightning rod of a film, Fahrenheit 9/11, will be released June 25 by Lions Gate Films, IFC Films and the Fellowship Adventure Group, which was formed by Bob and Harvey Weinstein.

BUSTED: Former Family Ties star Brian Bonsall (who played Andy Keaton) was arrested Friday in his home town of Boulder, Colorado, on suspicion of drunken driving. He was convicted of drunken driving in 2001 and his license was suspended.

ROUGH NIGHT: A complaint was filed against Justin Timberlake's friend after he confiscated the camera of an aggressive paparazzo who was allegedly harassing the rocker.

UNDER OUR SKIN: Avril Lavigne's sophomore effort, Under My Skin, debuted in the number-one slot on Billboard's domestic album chart with 380,507 units sold--her best first week ever.

IN THE STUDIO: American Idol runner-up Diana DeGarmo releasing her first single June 22 on RCA Records. Fantasia's single is scheduled to be released June 15 on RCA.

OFF THE HOOK: North Carolina's Court of Appeals overturning a judgment that would have required P. Diddy to pay $450,000 to a limo driver roughed up by the rapper's goons in 1995.

A FIGHT ON THEIR HANDS: A former Los Angeles Times reporter suing an imprisoned private eye who allegedly harassed her to keep her from writing about Steven Seagal and the Mob.

THEY WILL: Dennis Quaid popping the question to Kimberly Buffington, his real-estate agent gal-pal. It will be a third walk down the aisle for Quaid.

SHE DOES! Former Saturday Night Live star Molly Shannon swapping vows with artist Fritz Chestnut Saturday in Santa Barbara.

HE DOESN'T! A judge in the Dominican Republic granting a quickie divorce to Marc Anthony and former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres. The divorce still needs final approval from the U.S. Embassy.

THEY DEFINITELY DON'T: Bruce Willis and Brooke Burns calling their long-distance relationship quits, reports People. She's been in Hawaii shooting Fox's North Shore. He spent Memorial Day weekend in Hailey, Idaho, with ex Demi Moore and kids.

PRETTY PREGNANT: Julia Roberts and hubby Danny Moder expecting twins early next year, her rep confirmed Tuesday. The Oscar-winning actress' rep told People magazine that twins run in Roberts' family.

HOT STUFF: Jennifer Hawkins, a 20-year-old Australian, winning the Miss Universe title Tuesday night.

SLIMMING DOWN: Producers of the Miss America pageant are going to trim the televised portion of this year's contest from three hours to two in hopes of garnering better ratings.

IF YOU CAN'T BEAT 'EM: According to trade reports, David E. Kelley is developing a reality series about lawyers who will try actual civil cases through binding arbitration. NBC has given a greenlight to eight episodes.

ROYAL OFFSPRING: DreamWorks tapping two scribes and a consultant to jump-start work on the script for Shrek 3, per Variety.

LEAVE THE SKIMPY OUTFITS AT HOME: Britney Spears receiving formal approval from China's Culture Ministry to perform five concerts in Shanghai and Beijing next year so long as she doesn't wear revealing outfits onstage.

STATE YOUR BUSINESS: A mental-health activist filing a complaint about Dr. Phil with the FCC because the show's disclaimer fails to adequately state that the program is about entertainment and not counseling.

SPINNING: Sony and Marvel have resolved dueling lawsuits over the marketing of Spider-Man. As part of the settlement, the two sides have formed a joint company to oversee all things Spidey. Spider-Man 2 opens June 30.
