Not to be outdone, Denise Richards telling Entertainment Tonight her relationship with Richie Sambora was "the last thing I was looking for," but that "you can't help who you fall for." As for former friend Heather Locklear, "that friendship, unfortunately, was done and wasn't salvageable." Point: Richards.
DEFENDING HER HONOR: Heather Mills McCartney planning to take legal action against U.K. tabloid News of the World over a story alleging she worked as a prostitute in her 20s, her lawyers said Tuesday. However, she's planning to hold off on the lawsuit until her divorce from Paul McCartney is finalized, and by then, who's really going to care?
EVICTION NOTICE: The town council in Jupiter, Florida looking to sell off the Burt Reynolds & Friends Museum building that houses decades of memorabilia from the actor's film career in order to finance a new biomedical research facility. Items such as the canoe from Deliverance and the hat from Mystery, Alaska would be among the artifacts needing a new home if the museum is sold. One word: eBay.
FELLED: Police forcibly removing Daryl Hannah from her perch in a tree on the grounds of a Los Angeles urban farm, putting an end to the Splash star's efforts to save the farm from development. However, Hannah may get some mileage out of the bust when she gets cast as herself in the inevitably forthcoming documentary, Saving the Farm: One Actress' Battle.
CRUISE CONTROL: Mission: Impossible III winning the Golden Trailer Award for Best Action Trailer, marking the film's only likely victory outside of the Razzies.
HERE SHE COMES: The Miss America pageant filming a seven-episode reality series called Finding Miss America, which will give viewers a chance to vote on which 15 women advance to the finals out of the pool of 52 competitors. With the high drama sure to ensure, we'd venture to call this the most genius reality series concept since Temptation Island.
DRIVER'S SEAT: Paris Hilton being sued over a May 2004 chain collision on a Los Angeles freeway that was allegedly the fault of her cousin, Brooke Ashley Brinson, who was behind the wheel of Hilton's Mercedes at the time and failed to slow down with traffic, causing a four-car crash and leaving a couple with "serious injuries," according to their suit. We're not exactly clear on whether this Brinson chick is a poor relation or what, but it seems she should be sharing the blame.

CONFESSIONS ON A DANCE FLOOR: Madonna releasing I'm Going to Tell You a Secret, the documentary of her 2004 Re-Invention tour on DVD June 20. Hey, it's gotta be better than Swept Away, right?
KEEP THE FOCUS: Usher paying a visit to Biloxi, Mississippi, on Wednesday to draw attention to the ongoing rebuilding efforts there in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. We recommend he remove his shirt in the name of drawing even more attention.
BAD BREAK: A judge dealing film exec Bob Yari a major blow in his legal bid to share in producer credits for Crash, stating that the lawsuit had no real legal basis and giving Yari 10 days to amend his complaint or see his suit dismissed. We're guessing Yari's out of luck when it comes to getting that Oscar for his mantel.
OH, BABY: Jack Black and his wife, Tanya Haden, welcoming a baby boy on Saturday, the actor told E! News at the premiere of his latest film Nacho Libre. Black said Samuel was his top choice for his son's name but that nothing was official.
NEW MATERIAL: Bob Dylan releasing Modern Times, his first new album in five years, on Aug. 29. Meanwhile, Martin Scorsese's 2005 documentary on the singer, No Direction Home: Bob Dylan, taking home the grand prize and the arts documentary prize at the 27th Banff Rockie Awards on Monday night. The answer, my friends, is he's still relevant.
GREAT WHITE WAY: Haylie Duff making her Broadway debut when she joins the cast of Hairspray July 18. We wish it was Hilary too, but what can you do?
ON THE MEND: Kevin Aviance, the singer who was assaulted in Manhattan's East Village by a group of youths yelling anti-gay slurs, leaving the hospital Monday with his jaw wired shut and his fractured left leg in a brace.
