AND ALL THAT JAZZ: Chicago also the big winner at the Critics' Choice Awards, winning trophies for Best Picture, Best Ensemble and Best Supporting Actress (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Julianne Moore won Best Actress for Far from Heaven and Jack Nicholson and Daniel Day-Lewis (Gangs of New York) tied for Best Actor.

HOPPING IN: Here's a sentence we'd never thought we'd write: Kangaroo Jack won the weekend box-office derby, taking in an estimated $17.7 million to hold off another comedy, Martin Lawrence's National Security, which took in $15.7 million. Final figures will be released Tuesday.

SPLITSVILLE: Brit deejay Fatboy Slim ("Praise You") and his wife, BBC personality Zoe Ball, have split after almost four years of marriage. The couple, who have a two-year-old son, say the separation is amicable, and, according to a rep, they just want "a bit of breathing space."

GUARDIAN ANGEL: Jaclyn Smith telling TV Guide she's beaten breast cancer. The actress, who was diagnosed last summer during a routine checkup, underwent a lumpectomy and chemo. She'll appear in this summer's Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
