SPLITSVILLE: Lindsay Lohan's mother, Dina, officially filing for divorce from Lohan's father Michael, citing "cruel and inhuman treatment" and "adultery" as cause. Michael Lohan was released from rehab on Monday; Dina Lohan has a restraining order against him.
SPIDEY CENTS: A judge ruling that comics creator Stan Lee is entitled to 10 percent of profits generated since November 1998 by Marvel productions, including profits from Spider-Man, which earned more than $800 million worldwide, and its highly successful sequel.
MOESHA MOURNING: Lamont Bentley, best known for as Hakeem Campbell on the UPN sitcom Moesha, died in a car accident outside Los Angeles late Tuesday night. He was 31.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY: A bus driver for the Dave Matthews Band facing criminal charges for allegedly dumping human waste into the Chicago river in August. Stefan Wohl faces a potential $10,000 fine and up to one year in prison.
SEEING GREEN: Green Day's American Idiot topping the charts for the second week in a row, with Eminem's Encore holding on to the number two slot, according to Nielsen SoundScan data.
FASHION DIVA: Jennifer Lopez teaming up with MTV for a runway show showcasing Lopez's fashion line. MTV is set to air an hour-long special, Jennifer Lopez: Beyond the Runway, on Feb. 24.
WAY TO GO: Oprah Winfrey set to be inducted into the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame at the 36th NAACP Image Awards March 19 in Los Angeles.
JACKSON WATCH: Martin Bashir, who made the controversial documentary Living with Michael Jackson, asking a judge to deny a request from the prosecution to have him testify at Jackson's child-molestation trial.
MORE JACKSON: Prosecutors in the Jackson case requesting that testimony from child witnesses be conducted in secret, according to a brief order issued by Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville.
JACKSON ADD: Michael Jackson sat down with Geraldo Rivera for an interview in response to ABC News' recent report on leaked grand jury testimony by Jackson's accuser. Judge Rodney Melville lifted the gag order over the case in response to ABC's sometimes graphic report and other leaks in the case. Fox confirmed the interview had taken place, but refused to say when it would air.
BLAKE WATCH: Miles Corwin, a reporter-turned-author who accompanied detectives to Bonny Lee Bakley's murder scene, testifying at Robert Blake's murder trial Wednesday that he never touched any of the evidence. Corwin wrote about Bakley's death in his book, Homicide Special: On the Streets with the LAPD's Elite Detective Unit.
CALLING IT QUITS: Ben Kingsley and his third wife, Alexandra Christmann, officially splitting up after 15 months of marriage. "For some months now, Ben and Alexandra have been leading separate lives," Kingsley's rep said. "The separation is very amicable, and they remain very fond and very close."
IDOLIZING IDOL: The premiere of American Idol 4 averaging 33.6 million total viewers for its two-hour premeiere Tuesday night, making it the most-watched, non-sports television program of the current season and highest rated Idol since the Ruben Studdard-Clay Aiken finale in 2003.
CATWALK MANIA: The fourth season of America's Next Top Model set to return to UPN on Mar. 2.
LIKE FATHER, LIKE DAUGHTER? O.J. Simpson's daughter, Sydney, arrested and charged with resisting arrest without violence after she refused to stop yelling at police officers who had been called because of a fight outside a basketball game involving her old prep school.
SICK BAY: Kelsey Grammer's wife, Camille, recovering from a near-fatal ailment. Grammer, who left Washington, D.C., after hosting an inaugural event to be with his wife, said she "picked up a really terrible bug in Italy" last summer and was wasting away from an intestinal parasite. He said it would take her about a year to recover.
KUDOS: The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation announcing its nominees for the 16th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. Kinsey, Bad Education, The L Word and Survivor: Vanuatu among the nominees. GLAAD will also present a Special Recognition award to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart at the Mar. 28 awards ceremony.
TUNING UP: The Dave Matthews Band, Modest Mouse, Widespread Panic and Joss Stone among the acts confirmed to appear at the fourth annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, which is set to take place south of Nashville, Tennessee on June 10 through June 12.
LENDING A HAND: Alicia Keys, Hoobastank, Kelly Clarkson, Simple Plan and Good Charlotte performing at the MTV Asia Aid benefit to take place Feb. 3 in Bangkok. Jennifer Lopez was set to contribute a prerecorded performance and Sting, 50 Cent and Nelly, among other artists, were expected to offer taped messages of support.
UNDERCOVER COMIC: CBS senior vice president Peter Lassally revealing Tuesday that former Tonight Show host Johnny Carson occasionally sends David Letterman jokes he has written and that Letterman sometimes incorporates them into his Late Show monologue.
