HOUSEWIFE AMOK? Eva Longoria and her boyfriend, NBA star Tony Parker, fined in San Antonio on Christmas Eve for impeding traffic, police said Monday. A police report also accused the duo of being verbally abusive by making racial comments to a bicyle office. Longoria says in a statement that the report is "highly inaccurate, defamatory, false and fraudulent."

KONG BEATS NARNIA: King Kong grossing an estimated $31.4 million at the box office over the 4-day holiday weekend, just edging out The Chronicles of Narnia, which made 30.1 million. Despite those high scorers, overall box office was down 14% compared to one year ago.

THE CLIENT: Brad Renfro charged with a felony attempt to trying to buy heroin on Friday, police said. The actor was arrested Thursday in an LAPD Skid Row sting.

GLITTER READY FOR RESULTS: Vietnamese police finishing investigation into Gary Glitter's alleged obscene acts with a child, his attorney said Monday. The rocker, who has been detained in Vietnam since Nov. 19, will learn results later this week.

HONEYMOONERS IN VENICE: Sir Elton John and David Furnish honeymooning in Venice after tying the knot in a civil union ceremony in Britain last week, Italian news reports said.

ALL TIED UP: Mariah Carey notching her 17th number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 Thursday with "Don't Forget About Us," tying Elvis Presley's record for a solo artist and moving closer to the Beatles' all-time record of 20 number-one singles.

A MARRIED LITTLE CHRISTMAS: Laura Dern and Ben Harper tying the knot Thursday in a Yule-themed wedding, according to Us Weekly. The couple, who have two children together, have been together for nearly five years.

SPLITSVILLE: Mike Myers and wife Robin Ruzan filing for divorce after 12 years of marriage. A spokesperson for the couple stating they "remain committed and caring friends."

OKLAHOMA! American Idol Carrie Underwood was voted Oklahoman of the Year by Oklahoma Today magazine for encompassing all that makes the state great.

NO TIME FOR OSCAR: Billy Crystal turning down an invitation to host the Academy Awards, claiming that he is too busy to take the job. Chris Rock previously declined the host position.

RAPPED: Foxy Brown briefly handcuffed and threatened with jail time for disrepecting New York judge. Rapper was supposed to agree to plea bargain Friday, but judge declined to approve terms. All parties are due back in court next month.

UNFRIENDLY SKIES: Howie Day arrested Friday at Boston's Logan International Airport for rowdy behavior on a flight after he became intoxicated on a mixture of sleeping pills and booze. The singer pleaded innocent to a charge of interfering with a flight crew and is due back in court March 16.

SUPPORT SYSTEM: The widows of two of the 11 Israeli athletes killed at the 1972 Olympics endorsing Steven Spielberg's controversial film Munich, saying the movie was respectful to the athletes and did not tarnish their country's image.

FOUND: Entertainment Weekly naming the cast of Lost its Entertainer of the Year, calling the show one of the "biggest cult breakouts since The X-Files."

DIVORCE COURT: Jessica Simpson filing court documents to have the judge assigned to preside over her divorce from Nick Lachey removed, claiming he is prejudiced against her and her attorney, per Extra. The splitting couple are believed to be in the process of getting a private judge to hear their case.

MOURNED: Character actor Vincent Schiavelli, who appeared in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Ghost, died of lung cancer Monday at his home in Sicily; he was 57.
