OOPS: Britney Spears filing $10 million lawsuit against Us Weekly for allegedly fabricating a story about Spears and Kevin Federline making a sex tape, per TMZ.com.

SHUTTERBUGGED: A judge issuing an arrest warrant for photographer Todd Wallace, who allegedly struck a 5-year-old child with his camera while trying to take pictures of Reese Witherspoon in September, after he failed to appear at a bail hearing.

ON HOLD: A Manhattan judge adjourning a court appearance by Boy George on narcotics charges until next year. The Culture Club singer, who was said to be in England, is due back in court Feb. 1.

ON THE MEND: Ashlee Simpson returning to the United States to be with her family after she was hospitalized in Tokyo last week following her collapse at an MTV Japan performance.

MAYBE IT'S CONTAGIOUS? Bo Bice, who had been scheduled to fill in for Simpson at Monday's Radio Music Awards, being rushed to the hospital in Las Vegas Sunday after falling ill due to complications from surgery he underwent in August. The Goo Goo Dolls taking his place at the RMAs.

IDOL TIME: Season five of American Idol kicking off Jan. 17 and 18 on Fox.

MONKEY BUSINESS: King Kong swinging into theaters and topping the box office in all 36 territories where it opened. Despite its hype, Kong grossing a relatively modest $50.1 million in its North American debut weekend.

GOOD PEOPLE: Time magazine naming Bono and Bill and Melinda Gates its "Persons of the Year" for their humanitarian efforts.

SHOW MUST GO ON: Writers for The West Wing facing numerous challenges in crafting the show's future minus John Spencer, who died Friday, as the actor's character played a pivotal role in this season's storyline.

REMEMBERED: Friends and family of the late Richard Pryor, including Diana Ross, M'onique and George Lopez, gathering in a Hollywood chapel cemetery to honor the comedian at a private memorial service Saturday.

CASE DISMISSED: Phil Spector dropping a lawsuit that claimed he was cheated by his former attorney, Robert Shapiro. The record producer's murder trial is due to begin Apr. 24.

TIVO NATION: Starting next week, Nielsen Media Research, the company that measures what people watch on television, monitoring what people record on DVR in order to watch later.

HAIRY SITUATION: Internationally known hairstylist Pascal Bensimon due in court Monday in Aspen, Colorado, to be arraigned on a felony theft charge for allegedly stealing Kevin Costner's laptop computer.

CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE? Elton John saying his upcoming nuptials to longtime lover David Furnish in England this week will be the "happiest" day of his life, but adding that he will be thinking "about those less fortunate than we are. In many countries, having a same-sex partner is still outlawed."

HARD-CORE PR: Steven Spielberg hiring one of Israel�s top political strategists to Ariel Sharon to market his newest film, Munich, in Israel.

REMEMBERED: Italian tenor Enzo Stuarti, who performed in more than a dozen Broadway productions and sang at Carnegie Hall, died Friday of heart failure. He was 86.
