UNDER OBSERVATION: German prosecutors keeping an eye on Madonna to see if she repeats her controversial mock-crucifixion scene during her weekend concert in Duesseldorf, claiming that the stunt could be construed as insulting religious beliefs. Join the chorus, guys.

DIVORCE ON THE DL: Brad Garrett revealing to USA Today that he and his wife quietly divorced a year ago, but didn't tell anyone at the time. We'd like to draw attention to this feat for the benefit of all celebrities in the process of splitting--it can be done out of the spotlight.

ACE IN THE HOLE: Morgan Creek Productions hiring Jeff Sank and brothers Jason and Justin Heimberg to pen a third installment of Ace Ventura, which will center on the titular pet detective's son. We sense an imminent jumping of the shark.

LIVE LONG AND COLLABORATE: All five Star Trek captains--William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Avery Brooks, Kate Mulgrew and Scott Bakula--signing on to participate in the new Star Trek: Legacy videogame, marking the first time all five have worked together. It's enough to send a Trekkie into orbit.

BUSTED: Lil' Wayne in big trouble after being arrested in Atlanta on drug charges Monday. The rapper was released on bond, police said.

SHUT THEM DOWN: The Rolling Stones canceling their second and final concert in Spain Tuesday due to Mick Jagger's laryngitis, according to a government official in the town of El Ejido. Mala suerte, amigos.

FASHION FORWARD: Hilary Duff unveiling her new fall collection of affordable couture in the "Stuff" by Hilary Duff fashion show, available at hilaryonred.com starting Tuesday. We're sure it'll be just adorable.

HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN ALMOST SIX YEARS: Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson announcing they have separated after more than five years of marriage, a rep confirmed to E!. The couple wed in Aspen in 2000; they have a two-year-old son named Ryder.

ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL: So they're not kissing and making up exactly, but lawyers for Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen stating that an amicable resolution has been reached in the once-bitter divorce battle. Bor-ing.
