Fire at Ozzy's House!

It was definitely not a Good Friday for Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

The hard-rocking couple was forced to flee after a fire broke out in the living room of their countryside manor nestled in the cozy confines of Buckinghamshire country in Southern England, London's The Sun newspaper reported.

Crazy, but that's how it goes.

According to a spokeswoman for Buckinghamshire fire service, the blaze began shortly before midnight last Friday and was initially thought to have been sparked by an electrical problem.

Two fire engines arrived on the scene immediately and four firefighters wearing breathing apparatuses entered the mansion and put out the flames.

A later investigation determined that the fire was caused by heat from a fireplace that ignited some wood paneling.

Ozzy, 55, and Sharon, 51, took shelter outside in a garden along with their pets. The Osbournes' teenage children, Jack and Kelly, were not at the residence at the time.

Luckily, no one was seriously injured, though three members of their domestic staff--two men and one woman--were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.

The inferno ended up causing thousands of dollars in damage to the living room before it was extinguished.

Sharon Osbourne was said to be deeply distressed after the near calamity.

"I am beginning to wonder when this bad luck's ever going to stop," the Ozzfest mastermind told The Sun. "We went into the living room and saw smoke coming from behind the wood paneling. In a few seconds, the whole room filled with dreadful black smoke. We could see great big flames leaping up. We thought, S--t, and ran for it."

The Osbournes are right to ask if they've been cursed, given all that the celeb pair has been through in the past couple of years.

First, Sharon was diagnosed with cancer. Following her successful recovery, the former Black Sabbath frontman suffered a near-death experience after crashing his all-terrain vehicle at the estate in December 2003. The accident left him with a broken collarbone, six broken ribs and a broken vertebra in his neck.

A year later, Ozzy tackled some would-be jewel thieves who invaded his home and made off with family heirlooms, including a gold wedding ring belonging to his manager-wife.

All the while, America tuned in to watch the heavy-metal clan's mishaps on their hit MTV reality series, The Osbournes.

That show, by the way, signed off last week after four bleepin' seasons, with guest star Dr. Phil McGraw dissecting the mostly functioning dysfunctional family.

After the latest drama, maybe they ought to give the doctor another call.
