No need to torture Daniel Craig to get an honest answer out of him.

In the January issue of British GQ, the world's reigning James Bond explained why he and Rachel Weisz tied the knot under cover of MI6-caliber secrecy—then went and trashed a certain family who let TV cameras document the whole thing.

Uh-oh, guess who doesn't put the "Gentleman" in Gentleman's Quarterly...

"Look at the Kardashians, they're worth millions," the 43-year-old Brit said. "I don't think they were that badly off [financially] to begin with but now look at them. You see that and you think, 'What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f--king idiot on television and then you'll pay me millions?'"

"I'm not judging it—well, I am obviously," Craig continued. And then he talked privacy.

"I think there's a lot to be said for keeping your own counsel," he told the mag. "It's not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for. But if you sell it off it's gone. You can't buy it back—you can't buy your privacy back."

"'Ooh I want to be alone,'" Craig mocked. "F--k you. We've been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta and now you want some privacy?"

Yes, but then you don't get to be on Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People of the Year special, now do you?

Well, apparently too much attention (other than from the millions of people he hopes will see him in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and the next Bond film, Skyfall) doesn't float Craig's boat.

Especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

"We got away with it," he said of his and Weisz's hush-hush nuptials. "We did it privately and I've got a lot of people to thank for that. But that was the point, we did it for private reasons."

Why again, you ask?

"Because we didn't want it f---ked up, because that would be sharing a secret. And the whole point is that it was a secret. A secret is a secret in my mind."

There hasn't been any response from the Kardashians' korner regarding Craig's little outburst, but we suspect the family's been a little too busy this week to care what he thinks.
