Fast Brewster Races to Altar
Jordana Brewster has motored into matrimony.
The Fast and the Furious star swapped vows with producer Andrew Form Sunday on the Caribbean island of Nevis, her publicist confirmed Thursday.
The 27-year-old bride donned a Vera Wang dress in the private ceremony. According to a statement from the wedding gown guru, the dress was a blush-colored tulle number with draped bodice, wide straps and veiled gold—quite a departure from the duo’s blood-and-guts beginnings.
The couple met in 2005 while shooting The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning—she was the star and he was one of the producers. Like many movie set romantics, they initially kept their couplehood under wraps.
"We started dating in secret—you know, hanging out in my trailer—because it would have been unprofessional otherwise," Brewster recently told InStyle Weddings.
Still, it was apparently love at first sight. "Every day, Andrew wore these work boots to the set, and if I was lying down in the shot or there was equipment in the way, I'd look for his shoes. It was comfortable just to know he was nearby," the Panama-born actress added.
Form, 38, who is perhaps the actress’s most low-profile love match in recent years, popped the question last November, on the couple’s one-year anniversary, with a 3.2-carat emerald-cut diamond platinum ring. Prior to Form, Brewster dated the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Derek Jeter and singer-TV host Mark McGrath.
Next up for the onetime As the Worlds Turns regular is a return to TV. She plays the Angelina Jolie character in a small-screen adaptation of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, which is aiming for a spot on ABC's fall schedule.
