Tonight we got a taste of Bravo's Project Runway replacement, The Fashion Show, and it was clear that the lovable Isaac was not trying to copy Gunn but to meld his motherly mentoring with Heidi Klum's style and star power.

Did he succeed—or was this just a little bit auf?

We'll let you decide, but some noteworthy elements: Kelly Rowland comes off both lovely and opinionated, the designers are talented, if familiar, off-the-rack creative types (even you, Merlin!), and the runway show with industry types added spark, not to mention a bunch of catty comments.
