After expressing himself in no uncertain terms as to who should have won the Golden Globe for Best Song in his opinion, Elton John's husband, David Furnish, wants to assure us that he didn't mean to say that Madonna is terrible or anything.
Because a few people thought that's what he was trying to say after he wrote, "Madonna. Best song???? F--k off!!!" on Facebook the day after the Globes.

Um, not if the evening in question was last night and we're talking about Madonna and David Furnish.
It seems Elton John's significant other wasn't exactly pleased that his man lost out to the Material Girl in the Best Original Song category during Sunday's Golden Globes.
Of course, that's putting it mildly...

Well, our dreams of Justin Timberlake bringing "sexy" back to the music biz probably won't happen anytime soon. At least not for tunes that don't come hand-in-hand with a big-screen feature.
Like say, that Elton John biopic, Rocketman?! Well, that is if Elton has his way. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Elton revealed that Timberlake is "No. 1 on [his] wish list," gushing that J.T. "played me before and was superb."
So is Justin ready to get his "Tiny Dancer" on?

The memorial was nearly seven months in the making, but last night, 400 of Elizabeth Taylor's family and close friends gathered, rather fittingly, at the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank to pay their final respects to the late great dame.
And who better to memorialize a Hollywood icon than a few of the same? Colin Farrell, surprisingly revealed to be a close friend of the actress after her death, hosted the roughly 75-minute service, which was also attended by Sirs Michael Caine and Elton John, the latter of whom closed out the night by singing an emotional rendition of "Blue Eyes."
The private celebration, which took place at the Steven J. Ross Theater, paid tribute to Taylor's remarkable life, both personally and professionally.
