DWTS, Gilles Marini, Cheryl Burke ABC/KELSEY MCNEAL

It was a perfect night for Dancing With the Stars' Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke and a pretty good night for most prime-time shows.

DWTS led Monday with 20.2 million viewers, per preliminary Nielsen estimates. Two and a Half Men (14.4 milion) was the top scripted series. Elsewhere:

A bunch of shows either hit their season averages or there about, including House (12.2 million), 24 (11.2 million), Rules of Engagement (11 million), The Big Bang Theory (9.8 million), How I Met Your Mother (9.2 million) and One Tree Hill (2.3 million).

An alleged Sweet 16 party perked up Gossip Girl (2.5 million).

Compared to last week, Heroes (6.3 million) lost ground overall but beefed up a bit in the 18-49 demo.

Medium (7.3 million) rebounded from an especially off week.
