DUI Drama for General Hospital Star
As if the plot wasn't thick enough already.
General Hospital star Kirsten Storms was arrested early Friday morning in Los Angeles-adjacent Culver City on suspicion of driving under the influence.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers stopped the 23-year-old actress at about 3 a.m. after seeing a lit cigarette being tossed out the window of her blue Mercedes-Benz CLK500.
The cops noticed "the odor of an alcohol beverage" wafting from the car, the CHP's report states, and then Storms failed a routine series of field sobriety tests.
Storms, who also voices the bratty Bonnie Rockwaller on the animated Disney Channel sitcom Kim Possible, was then taken into custody. She was jailed for several hours and released after posting $5,000 bail.
Before joining General Hospital as Maxie Jones in 2005, Storms cut her soap-opera teeth playing Isabella Black on Days of Our Lives from 1999 to 2004. She can also currently be seen in the 13-episode prime-time GH spinoff General Hospital: Night Shift, which airs on SoapNet.
Storms has also had guest appearances on 7th Heaven, The Rockford Files, That's So Raven and CSI: Miami.
