The Duggar family wasn't expecting the pitter-patter of its 19th baby until this spring, but Thursday was obviously a good night for births.

The lineup of stars on TLC's 18 Kids and Counting got a bit longer as Michelle and Jim Bob welcomed Josie Brooklyn yesterday evening at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

The 43-year-old wife, mom and grandma was airlifted to the hospital earlier this week for contractions triggered by a gallstone. Thankfully, she was kept there under observation, just in case.

"Michelle, who has been in the hospital recovering from a gallstone, was taken to the OR for an emergency C-section," a rep for the network tells E! News in a statement. "Daughter Josie Brooklyn was born at 6:27 p.m., weight 1 pound, 6 ounces. Michelle is resting comfortably and the baby is stable in the NICU for extended care.

"The most important thing right now is for mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible. The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery."
