I don't know that I've ever been more excited about a movie than I am for the upcoming Sex and the City feature. I mean, never mind this hooey about Indiana Jones and the leaks from the set about Russians, kidnapping and Karen Allen, etc. I want to know why Big (Chris Noth) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) are hanging out together!
But I don't want to know now. Every day more and more photos are surfacing from the shoot. And it's killing the element of surprise. We see the outfits, the hairstyles, grrr. My friends in New York are buzzing that it's almost like everyone shooting wants crowds to gather. Wha?! "When they shot years ago, it just felt different," says my Greenwich Village source. "Now, it's like they've practically rolled out a red carpet for anyone who passes by. It's a different vibe."

Well, stop it, dammit! I don't want to know anything about the movie right now. I don't want to see anything. I don't want to hear anything. Enough, enough!
We have waited sooo long for this movie to come together, and it's been really exciting to see it happen—especially because Mario Cantone is involved (love him). But go with me here. I want to feel teased. I don't want Sex throwing itself at me on the front page of every entertainment blog every day like an overeager suitor. I want to wonder and pine. Everything, especially Sex, is better when a little suspense is involved.
So, please, Sarah Jessica Parker, you dignified heroine you, tell those photographers to shoo!
