Doug Reinhardt Denies Engagement!

Despite some very persistent rumblings of a summer wedding in the works for Doug Reinhardt and Paris Hilton, Doug exclusively tells E! "that's a rumor."
"We are very much together, but not engaged," sassed Reinhardt. "We are having the best times of our lives together. We are very happy."
Hmmm, is that because the Hiltons don't approve?
"David [Katzenberg], Nicky, Paris and I hang out almost everyday," refuted a somewhat snitty D.R. "David and I are very close, despite what reports say."
Ah, well we heard that it was Nicky & Co. who weren't exactly so fond of D, but whatever.
Another Hills groupie tells us that Doug is not in this high-profile romance for the fame, as so many folks seem to be worried about (pretend folks are worried here, people, pretend).
"Paris and Doug are together because they are in love," said the bud to A.T. "For the first time in their lives, they are finally with someone for love and not being used. They were sick of all the social climbers and users."
Previous fiancé Paris Latsis' family says just the same thing about Paris, but we'll just forget about that, won't we?
