Dirty details are emerging about the L.A. prosecutor who fought to put Paris Hilton in jail. It turns out the wife of Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo was once busted for driving without a valid license, car registration or even insurance. Michelle Delgadillo also damaged a city car while driving with a suspended license and her legal eagle hubby had the car repaired at tax payers' expense. And now, it's emerged that he had members of his staff run errands and babysit his two kids during business hours. Tsk! Tsk!
Look, Paris ain't perfect, but she's not a city official entrusted with upholding the law—thank god! Of course that doesn't mean she's above the law, but if we're gonna make celebrities face the music, then public officials—their friends and family members—are fair game, too. So, Rocky, before you try to steal the star-spangled spotlight with your overzealous prosecution, take care of your own problems first. Because Hollywood is quick to forgive the indiscretions of its famous denizens, but the government...not so much.
