Did Lindsay Lohan's Alleged Necklace-Nabbing Fiasco Land Her a Felony Charge?

Lindsay Lohan AKMImages.net

Lindsay Lohan's luck has to change soon, right?

Fresh out of rehab, the Mean Girls star is not only (still) dealing with a disgruntled former Betty Ford employee, but reports are now circulating that Lohan could face serious legal charges for allegedly nabbing a necklace from a jewelry store near her home last month.

So, will the starlet be heading back to court...and possibly jail?

While online reports have claimed Lohan could be facing charges of felony grand theft as early as Monday for allegedly taking the $2,500 necklace, Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley says she and her client will fight any such charges.

"We vehemently deny these allegations and, if charges are filed, we will fight them in court, not in the press," Holley told E! News in a statement.

Police have been investigatng a claim of theft, but have made no statement concerning whether charges will be filed. The necklace in question has since been turned over to authorities, but the person who returned it has not been identified (though an LA Times report characterized this person as a Lohan associate).

Prior to its return, the jewelry store owner claimed to have photos and video of Lohan wearing the missing necklace.
