Hear the one about Destiny's Child reuniting? Us, either.

But that hasn't stopped Camp Beyoncé from releasing not one but two emphatic statements denying the apparently pervasive yet almost untraceable (we said almost) rumors to the contrary.

While rumors of an impending reunion of the trio seem to pop up every few years—and go away just as quickly as they arrive—this time around, both the father and publicist of Knowles have piped up to deny the latest round of reports.

"Contrary to rumors online of a Destiny's Child reunion, there are no plans for the group to reunite for a performance or album," the much-beleaguered Papa Fierce, and the group's former manager, Matthew Knowles, said in a statement. "The rumors are false."

And just in case that wasn't final enough, Knowles went so far as to preemptively deny the same rumor should it pop back up in the future.

"Destiny's Child made an unprecedented impact in contemporary music, becoming one of the best-selling groups of all time. Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have each moved on to successful solo careers. The members remain close, but will not reunite as a group."

But hey, they'll always have tenuous excuses to get their names back out there, so really everyone wins. Uh, except the fans.
