Denise Who? Charlie Sheen Scores Fiancée

Charlie Sheen, apparently tired of shacking up with one and a half other men, has decided to add a woman to his roost.

E! News has confirmed that, after about a year of dating, the recently divorced actor has become engaged to real estate investor Brooke Mueller.

Sheen popped the question on a Costa Rican beach with a $500,000 diamond ring valued by Us Weekly at close to $500,000—a no-brainer, one would think, for the highest paid sitcom star on television.

Sheen's rep, Stan Rosenfeld, has issued a blanket "no comment" on the betrothal news.

This will be the third trip down the aisle for Sheen. His first marriage, to Donna Peele, lasted about a year before their divorce in 1995. The Two and a Half Men star's split from Denise Richards became official in November, and he and Mueller were first spotted stepping out romantically in June 2006, when Sheen's rep confirmed that the 29-year-old on his arm was his girlfriend.

Richards originally filed for divorce in March 2005, when she was six months pregnant with their second daughter. She and Sheen appeared to be on the road to reconciliation later that year, but by January 2006 everything had gone kaput again and Richards was once again pushing for a breakup.

The Wild Things seductress hooked up with Richie Sambora about the same time Sheen took up with Mueller, but Richards and the Bon Jovi guitarist called it quits a few months ago.

Proving that time heals at least some wounds, Richards has recently been spotted out and about with Mueller—with Sheen and Richards' three-year-old daughter, Sam, in tow. And a friend of the 36-year-old actress told People last year that "Denise wants her to feel comfortable."

"We have a great relationship," Richards told E! News' Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show Wednesday, adding that she's "very friendly" with Mueller as well.

"I really like her, and that's something people have a hard time with, too. I honestly want my girls happy, and if they can have a harmonious environment at my house and at his house, that's all I want. I really like her, and I'm very, very happy for the both of them, and I want my girls happy."

Aside from his two daughters with Richards, Sam and Lola, Sheen has an adult daughter, Cassandra, with actress Paula Profit. He was also engaged to Kelly Preston, but they never made it to the altar. (Preston called things off shortly after Sheen accidentally shot her.)

Former bad-boy Sheen should be able to make Mueller pretty comfortable as well. The 41-year-old was nominated for an Emmy last year for his role as womanizing songwriter Charlie on CBS' Two and a Half Men, currently the tube's highest rated sitcom, and before season four kicked off, Sheen had secured himself a $350,000-per-episode deal.

The Wall Street player also lends his voice to the upcoming Foodfight!, about what goes on in the grocery store when those fluorescent lights are turned off, due out Apr. 11, 2008. The comedy's other vocal talent includes Eva Longoria, Hilary Duff, Christopher Lloyd and Wayne Brady.
