Demi Lovato has surfaced.

After leaving a treatment facility in January where she spent two months dealing with some long-festering personal issues, the Sonny With a Chance star is finally beginning to talk about what's the "darkest time" of her life via an online video message to fans.

Here's what she had to say.

"Your support is what got me through this," said the 18-year-old Disney star, looking happy. "The journey has been very, very difficult the past few months. I was dealing with issues that I know not only girls just my age but of all ages are dealing with."

Demi sought professional help after quitting the Jonas Brothers' world tour in October following an embarassing meltdown when she allegedly got into a scuffle with a backup dancer.

While Lovato didn't elaborate on the "emotional and physical issues" that her rep said was behind to her decision to get medical treatment, she's dropped few hints in recent months. She recounted her experiences as being picked on in school on the PACER's Teens Against Bullying site.  And sources close to Lovato also told E! News that the actress-singer suffered from bulimia and self-image problems as well.

"I hope to one day raise awareness of everything so I can help people too just like you helped me at this rough time," Lovato said. "I can't tell you how much light you guys brought into my life at probably the darkest time of my life. Without you guys, I wouldn't be here today...I couldn't have done this without you."

Glad to hear she's getting her house in order.
