Dancing With the Stars: Alums Cast Their Votes

The pressure is on. Gilles Marini, Melissa Rycroft and Shawn Johnson will dance for the last time tonight for season eight of Dancing With the Stars.

Who will win? Most bets seem to be on Gilles. But that doesn't mean everyone is rooting for him. We caught up with some DWTS veterans and asked them to weigh in on the finale...

Lacey Schwimmer, professional partner to Lance Bass and Steve-O, says she "absolutely" loves Shawn, but Gilles is her pick. "He is so talented and he's one of the nicest guys I've ever met," she said. "So I'm going for Gilles. A lot of people are saying Melissa, but I personally don't know if she'll win."

Shannon Elizabeth, who danced on the show with her now boyfriend Derek Hough, thinks it's Gilles to win. However, her vote is going to Shawn and Mark Ballas. "Mark is like [Derek's] brother, so we're rooting for Mark right now," she said.

Pro dancer Tony Dovolani isn't only getting support because of how well Melissa is doing. "I was rooting for Ty, but now that he's kicked off I'm probably rooting for Tony and Melissa," said Julianne Hough, who recently announced she was taking next season off to concentrate on her country music career. "Tony's never won, so I'm rooting for him."

No one can deny that the chemistry between Gilles and Cheryl Burke is probably the hottest in the history of the show. Brooke Burke, who took home the disco-ball trophy last season, saw it firsthand.

"I was two feet from them and my heart was pounding," Brooke said. "And it's not just him—them together just exudes sensuality. That's my pick!"

So who are you voting for—and who do you think will win? Let the Dancing debates begin.

And don't forget to come back here tomorrow for the latest installment of my weekly chat with Gilles. Let me know if there's anything you want me to ask him.
