Starting Thursday, Nixon will take to the stage to play a poetry professor who undergoes treatment for cancer in the Broadway premiere of the play Wit at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre in NYC.
The Great White Way gig comes nearly 12 months after Nixon and her partner, Christine Marinoni, welcomed their son, Max.
