Culkin Plea Deal in the Works?

Big Mac is apparently hoping to order up a supersize deal with prosecutors.

Court officials in Oklahoma have confirmed that Macaulay Culkin's drug-possession case has been delayed until April so that his lawyers can work on a plea bargain.

The actor was due to face Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, prosecutors in court Thursday for his arrest last year.

Culkin was busted Sept. 17 while traveling with a buddy down Interstate 44 in the northeast quadrant of the city. The two New York residents were pulled over for driving 70 in a 60-mph zone.

Once stopped, cops noticed 17.3 grams of weed and various prescription pills inside the ride, in which the former child star was a passenger.

The Home Alone actor was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and Xanax. Although the 24-year-old was also allegedly holding 32 milligrams of Clonazepam, a potentially addictive sedative used to treat seizures, he was not cited for that.

Culkin pleaded innocent to the two possession counts in October.

The prospect of the actor doing any jail time for the bust is highly unlikely--especially if he cuts a deal with prosecutors.

Oklahoma County District Attorney Wes Lane has said it was likely Culkin would land in a drug-treatment program and face a small fine, even if he enters a no-contest plea.

The actor, who has been trying to make a comeback with starring roles in the 2003 indie hit Party Monster and a well-received performance in 2004's Saved!, remains free on $4,000 bail.
