Cox & Arquette's New Offspring

Proud new parents Courteney Cox and David Arquette have collaborated on another joint.

The happy couple are launching their own production company, Coquette, while the former Friends star has inked a first-look deal with Warner Bros. TV, the production company behind her hit series, the couple's publicist confirmed Friday.

All this just two weeks after the delivery of their first child, daughter Coco.

"It is a natural progression for us, at this stage in our careers, to be moving toward development and production in both television and film," the new mom told the Hollywood Reporter.

Already, Cox and Arquette jointly produce the home-decorating series Mix It Up, which just began its second season on the WE: Women's Entertainment cable network.

That show's host, Thea Mann, a former casting agent, will serve as head of development at Coquette.

"We got our feet wet with our show Mix It Up...and enjoyed that process so much we decided to formalize our commitment by forming this company," Arquette told the trade.

Obviously having no need for sleep, Cox has also got several series in the works, including a potential starring vehicle, an HBO drama titled The Fall and Rise of Taylor Kennedy, to be written and directed by Nick Cassavetes.

Ahead on Coquette's development slate are Dirt, a drama for FX, and Midnightly News, an unscripted half-hour comedy being considered by Fox.

Maybe the show-biz duo plans to tag team the 2 a.m. feedings?

After all, Arquette's upcoming calendar isn't quite as busy, having just completed work on two projects, according to IMDb. The actor, whose most recent credit is Never Die Alone opposite DMX, will be seen in the indie film Slingshot, opposite Thora Birch and Julianna Margulies, and the movie version of the Stephen King story Riding the Bullet.
