Courtney Thorne-Smith Rings in New Year
Courtney Thorne-Smith is about to get re-hyphenated.
The According to Jim star tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, marketing exec Roger Fishman, on Jan. 1.
According to her publicist, the ceremony took place at Thorne-Smith's home. No further details were divulged.
It was the second trip down the aisle for the 39-year-old former Ally McBeal and Melrose Place thesp, who was previously married, very briefly, to genetic scientist Andrew Conrad.
She tied the knot with Conrad in June 2000, but announced their divorce just six months later in January 2001, regrettably just around the same time an In Style magazine photo spread glorified their vow swap.
Thorne-Smith was engaged a second time, in 2003, to cardiologist Robert Andrews, though the twosome broke it off before a date could be set.
This time around, the actor opted for the low-key route.
According to In Touch Weekly, the TV vet and her fiancé, who works for the Hollywood agency CAA, wanted to keep the ceremony so hush-hush that not even parents of the duo made the guest list. The magazine also claims the twosome applied for a confidential marriage license so word of them getting hitched wouldn't leak out early.
Mission accomplished.
In the meantime, the now newlywed Thorne-Smith returns to work on the Emmy-nominated ABC sitcom According to Jim, currently in its sixth season.
