Court Orders Photogs to Stop Bugging Lily Allen

Lily Allen isn't going to let a few run-ins with the paparazzi take away that smile.

Yesterday, the British songbird made tabloid headlines by throwing a haymaker and water bottle at a photographer who allegedly rear-ended her car.

Today, the singer, who has spoken out before about being shutterbugged, is taking a more appropriate action. She filed—and was granted—an injunction against the offending photographers.

"My client has faced constant harassment over the last few months from the paparazzi. As a result of this and various incidents of harassment that took place yesterday, my client has now been forced to take legal action," Allen's lawyer, Mark Thomson, said in a statement.

"In a court hearing that took place this afternoon, my client, Lily Allen, has resolved issues surrounding her constant harassment with two picture agencies and has also obtained from the High Court an injunction restraining further harassment of her by other paparazzi photographers."

British tabs have speculated that should the paps decide to press charges, the starlet would have to cancel her upcoming North American tour, much like Amy Winehouse's recent travel ban earlier this week. Allen missed the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards because of a similar skirmish.
