Cops: Solange Knowles Also Armed...With "5-Foot Inflatable Banana"

So you know how Solange Knowles has been sounding off about being accosted by a "weapon"-wielding officer as an act of "discrimination."
Well, now the cops are shooting back, saying the singer was wielding her own weapon of sorts.
A blow-up banana.
Yes, you read that right.

A Miami Beach Police Department spokesman tell E! News the Knowles "incident" took place outside Miami's Club Cameo when the crooner was not allowed access to the venue because she "was in possession of a 5-foot-tall inflatable banana."
Last night, Knowles complained that the reasons she was denied access were "racially motivated."

So what did Miami Beach's finest have to say about that?
"Ms. Knowles demeanor caused the officers to escort her across the street to further the conversation, where Ms. Knowles claims one of the officers pulled a 'weapon' on her, not a firearm, and threatened to deflate the banana," says Det. Juan Sanchez.
Because Knowles filed a complaint with the department, an internal affairs unit is expected to get in touch with Solange regarding the allegations.
No further information about the fruity disturbance was disclosed...nor do we know yet what exactly she was doing with a giant inflatable banana. Solange has promised to get back to us on that really soon.
