Twilight Too Taboo for You?!
It's a dark day for Twilight...or not.
Stephenie Meyer's series has landed at No. 5 on the American Library Association's Most Frequently Challenged Books of 2009 list, which means only four other novels had more teachers and parents whining about its content.
We can probably blame this largely on the whole vampires and werewolves thing. J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series tops the list for the decade, so clearly mystical themes are a bit taboo for the card catalog set. They're listed as occult and Satanism, after all.
