Is Comedy Really the Best Medicine? Andy Richter Isn't So Sure...
Andy Richter definitely knows how to get a party started. At Variety's Power of Comedy Presented by The Sims 3 honoring Amy Poehler, the funnyguy opened the show as the night's host. Not an easy task when the evening features some of comedy's biggest names like Will Ferrell, Russell Brand and Will Arnett.
With proceeds from the event going to the Noreen Fraser Foundation, the night was all about laughter's power to heal. But Andy made a good point early on: "They say laughter is the best medicine. Probably not true...medicine is probably the best medicine. But laughter can't hurt!" We agree. And after you check out the video, you might just find yourself with a splitting pain in your side...but we guarantee it'll leave you feeling great.
