Clinton Gets No Action with Sam Jackson

It sounds like presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Clinton was hoping for some Hollywood magic during her recent trip to Sin City.
I’m told Clinton staffers had asked for a photo op with actor Samuel L. Jackson during the National Association of Black Journalists convention at Bally’s Las Vegas hotel and casino. Apparently, however, it couldn’t happen because of scheduling conflicts.
Clinton spoke to attendees yesterday, but Jackson won't arrive in Vegas until tomorrow for the closing-night festivities. He'll be introducing his new movie, Resurrecting the Champ, in which he stars as a homeless man discovered by a sports reporter (Josh Hartnett) to be a legendary prize fighter who was presumed dead.
Clinton could try again later this month: Resurrecting's L.A. premiere is Aug. 22.
I'm sure she'd have no problem getting a ticket.
