When it comes to Adam Levine's new fragrance venture, Christina Aguilera just sniffed something out!

As we learned last week, the Maroon 5 frontman is preparing to launch 222 in May 2013 and it will feature scents for both men and women.

Smells, er, sounds promising, right?

Sure. However, his fellow coach on The Voice couldn't help but playfully remind Levine about a little remark he made 12 months earlier...

"Haha @AdamLevine. What a difference a year makes," Aguilera tweeted along with a link to this tweet that Levine sent out in March 2011:

"I also would like to put an official ban on celebrity fragrances. Punishable by death from this point forward," he wrote at the time.

Whoops!

The teasing was all in good fun, though, as Aguilera followed up by saying: Welcome to the celebrity fragrance family!"
