Cheryl Hines Curbs Enthusiasm for Husband, Files for Divorce

Don't tell us—was Tipper behind this one?
Not a chance. But sadly, Cheryl Hines' marriage to her hubby of nearly eight years, producer and manager Paul Young, has fizzled out all on its own.
Hines' rep confirmed in a statement today that the actress and Young quietly filed for divorce on July 20. The split appears to be amicable, and they will share custody of their child, 6-year-old Catherine Rose.
As her rep puts it: "They will remain extremely close friends and will raise their daughter together."
Still, nice to know a little personal drama hasn't slowed Hines down. E! News caught the funny lady enjoying herself at the Audi & Chopard Emmys kickoff party in West Hollywood last night. Way to bounce back, Cheryl!
